The Speeches
I think I write a decent speech for all my speaking event. The problem is I have never read one at least not well. :-) I always end up just talking and engaging with my people..
I thought I’d drop them all here so y’all can read them. Enjoy. Maybe I’ll try read a whole speech on day.
April 11th, 2026 - CCDP Backyard Bash
My first speaking event. I may have bombed a little. I left that night and started working on a speech for the next event. Learn and move forward.
April 26th, 2026 - CCDP Meeting at Big Apple
I did much better talking instead of reading the speech. I enjoyed the Q & A. That’s my strength.
May 5th, 2026 - Hazel Candidate Forum
I was so excited to speak in Hazel! Again I talked instead of delivering the speech. Again I did well in the Q & A.
May 15th, 2026 - Murray Country Club Social Fundraiser
My first official campaign event at my home golf course. I didn’t even try to give the speech. I just talked and answered questions. It was awesome.
May 16th, 2026 - CCDP Backyard Bash
I didn’t write a speech for this event. I just leaned into to what I had spoken about the night before. It was short, but I did well.
